HC reserves judgment on Ghaziabad Development Authority’s allotment policy

Allahabad: The Allahabad High Court today reserved its judgment in connection with the Ghaziabad Development Authority’s (GDA) policy on allotment of plots to ministers and MLAs on preferential basis. A single-judge bench of Justice Sabhajeet Yadav reserved the judgment after hearing the concluding arguments from both sides. The matter pertained to dismissal of Class-III GDA employee Sharada Prasad in 2004-05. He was accused by the GDA administration of getting a GDA plot fraudulently transferred in the name of his wife from a person who was not his blood relation.
