City to get its longest flyover

The city administration has moved a step closer to give Gurgaon its longest flyover. Seven government bodies have given in-principle approval to the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) for transfer of land to construct the 4.5-km flyover in the old city. The departments concerned include the Haryana tourism, state health department, the education department, the Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda), state roadways, the police and the army. The total estimated cost of the project is R200 crore and the figures have been sent to the head office in Chandigarh for final approval.
